It appears that trace-cmd broke with the latest buildroot, although I haven't tested this since 2020.08.
But regardless, disabling trace-cmd might not be a bad thing, since we are not using it anymore.
Let me know what you think.
I can always reenable it and try again with the latest 2020.11 release.
