memtest: Adjust code for 64-bit architectures ...

Make use of %pa specifier to avoid warnings when building against
64-bit CPU (specifically AArch64) as well as adjust a number of
patterns to be 64-bits wide.

usb: gadget: fastboot: detect device if not present ...

When a device file is not present when the fastboot gadget is created
then try to detect it before we fail. It may be that we want to write
to a device that we haven't used before.

checkpatch: don't check TODO file presence ...

The commit b3baf2d86149 ("TODO: remove unused file") drops
the TODO file. Alas scripts/checkpatch.pl checks TODO file
presence in top_of_kernel_tree(). Without TODO checkpatch.pl
exits with 'Must be run from the top-level dir. of a kernel tree'.

net: mdio: Do not warn about invalid PHY address ...

of_mdiobus_register is now called with nodes from ethernet devices.
Their child nodes are not necessarily phy nodes. For am335x devices
we get several warnings now:

None of the nodes is a phy node, so silence the warnings and turn them
into dev_dbg.

ARM: omap: xload: Fix network boot filename ...

The dhcp code no longer exports the "bootfile" environment variable.
It now uses global.dhcp.bootfile. Since global variable support is
not necessarily part of the MLO we instead use struct dhcp_result *
to get the bootfile information.

ARM: Multi PBL: Fix image calculation for certain toolchains ...

The current way to calculate the compressed image position works
with the OSELAS toolchains, but not with the Debian/Ubuntu toolchains.
For these toolchains &image_end_marker already returns the correct
address, adding global_variable_offset() to it is wrong.

The solution seems to be to put the image_end_marker into a different
object file so that the compiler cannot play any tricks to resolve
the address internally in the object file.

fs: devfs: Create device files as character devices ...

Without this files in /dev/ appear as regular files. copy_file()
stumbles upon this as it tries a truncate() on that files which
then fails. Create the files as character devices so that copy_file()
works as expected.

led: use max led value in case of led trigger ...

The led_poller function blink_func uses for flashing and blinking only the
values 1/0 for setting the leds. In case of an e.g. gpio led this is true. But
in case of pwm driven leds, where someone could dimm the leds, the value of 1
dimms the led. Use the max value for blinking and flashing of a led when enabling.
