regulator: add bcm2835 driver ...

this will allow to handle IP power automatically and not at board level

Mainline kernel need this as they do not have the regulator driver support

as some IP such as USB are not power on at boot

net: smc1111: extend the driver for 91c94 and 91c96 support ...

All the smcs family chips 91c94, 91c96, 91c100, 91c111 share almost the
same behavior and register sets. The noticeable exceptions are coped
with in this patch, ie :
 - 91c94 and 91c96 only have an internal 10 Mbps phy
   The registers used for phy discovery on later chips will corrupt the
   91c96 state.
 - 91c94 and 91c96 have a control and config register quite different
   from their 91c1xx conterparts
   A platform data user defined couple of registers is introduced. If
   these values are 0, 91c1xx legacy behavior is assumed.

net: smc1111: add 16 bits accessors, allow address shift ...

Smc network IPs can be wired up in different funny ways. For example the
lubbock pxa25x development platform wires all address lines shifted by
2, ie. bus A2 is smc91c96 A0, bus A3 is smc91c96 A1 etc ...

In order to cope with the different possible combination, add a shift
parameter for addresses.

By default, the old behaviour using the 32 bit accesses is kept.

MAKEALL: use $(...) instead of `...` for readability ...

The mixture of single quotes and back quotes in the same line makes
scripts unreadable.

Here, do_build_target() is especially unreadable.  Using $(...)
instead of `...` would make it a little better.

MAKEALL: remove false positive error check ...

CROSS_COMPILE is not necessary in some cases:
 - Sandbox
 - Native build
   (e.g. when you build barebox for ARM on the ARM Linux system)
 - If CONFIG_CROSS_COMPILE is supported like Linux in the future,
   CROSS_COMPILE might be set by Kbuild.

ARM: MXS: power-init: Add parameters to mx28_power_init() ...

Instead of introducing new functions each time a new power supply
situation is to be added, this patch adds parameters to mx28_power_init.

Right now there are three parameters:

- has_battery - true when this board has a battery.
- use_battery_input - true when this board is supplied from the
  battery input, but has a DC source instead of a real battery
- use_5v_input - true when this board can use the 5V input

The third one is introduced with this patch and allow to boot a board from 5v
(USB) source only. The main necessary change this needs is that the DC-DC
converter must always be sourced from DCDC_4P2 (DROPOUT_CTRL field of
HW_POWER_DCDC4P2)

pinctrl: remove unnecessary error check ...

The file drivers/pinctrl/pinctrl.c is compiled only when
CONFIG_PINCTRL is defined.  "IS_ENABLED(CONFIG_PINCTRL)" is
always evaluated as 1 in this function.
(Although the compiler would optimize it, the source file does
not look nice.)

param: add error check to __dev_add_param() ...

If strdup() fails with out-of-memory, __dev_add_param() should fail
with -ENOMEM.

(Note strdup() is always given with a non-NULL pointer.  If the
argument name is given with NULL, the system would already have
crashed in the get_param_by_name() function.)

MAKEALL: do not create build directory explicitly ...

Since commit e7554c0cb245 (kbuild: create a build directory
automatically for out-of-tree build), MAKEALL does not have to
create a build directory.  It it done by the top Makefile.
