net: designware: eqos: attach PHY earlier ...

If the PHY isn't driving the refclock, the software reset of the
controller will time out. Some PHYs need some board specific
configuration to properly drive the reflock. Attach the PHY before
attempting the software reset, so PHY fixups have a chance to run.

backlight_register allocates a new backlight device. Populating the
device's parent field with the hardware device gives us more

kbuild: resync top Makefile, mkmakefile, tags.sh with Linux 5.7-rc4 ...

The prologue of the build system is not specific to Linux or Barebox.
Paritially resync with Linux 5.7-rc4

- In Linux, $(objtree) is always '.', and $(srctree) might be relative.
  I am keeping both absolute for now to avoid unexpected breakage.

- I did not resync single target for now. We need to touch
  Makefile.build a lot if we want to resync it.

- 'export CDPATH=' is Barebox-only code, which was added by
  commit 6cc8d0544658 ("Makefile: disable CDPATH"). Keep it.

- KBUILD_SRC no longer exists in the upstream Linux. I replaced it
  with building_out_of_srctree.

- scripts/mkmakefile does not contain anything specific to Linux or
  Barebox. Resync it with Linux 5.7-rc4

- scripts/tags was imported from Linux 3.6 with some cherry-picks on
  top of that. Resync it with Linux 5.7-rc4

- Turn Wstrict-prototypes into an error
- Add -Werror=implicit-int
- Use the standard form -Werror=... for implicit-function-declaration

ARM: dts: vexpress-v2p-ca9: adapt fixed NOR flash partition setup ...

Upstream DTS commit 62a5017bf825c9e4d317 ("ARM: dts: vexpress: specify
AFS partition") [1] introduced an empty node at /smb@4000000
/motherboard/flash@0,00000000/partitions, which is preferred by the OF
partitions parser over the single partition nodes. In the same commit,
upstream set the compatible to "arm,arm-firmware-suite", which barebox
does not know about. Adapt our fixed partition setup accordingly by
wrapping all partitions in an extra "partitions" node with the correct
compatible.

The i.MX6UL differs from the i.MX6Q in the interpretation of the first
two values for BOOT_CFG(7, 4):

ARM: i.MX: boot: interpret reserved boot as forced serial ...

`mw 0x20d8040 0x00000010; mw 0x20d8044 0x10000000; reset` issued on an
i.MX6Q forces serial download mode, but there is no indication of that
in the sbmr2 register, so barebox reports $bootsource=unknown.

Similarly, `mw 0x20d8040 0x00000020; mw 0x20d8044 0x10000000; reset`
forces an i.MX6UL into recovery mode after reset.

Do as U-Boot does and interpret the (reserved) value in BOOT_CFG1(7, 4)
for each SoC as serial download.

drivers: add COMPILE_TEST prompts for some off-by-default options ...

Some Kconfig options we have are promptless and off-by-default and
instead can only be enabled by being selected from platform options.

For some of those that aren't compile testable, add a new
COMPILE_TEST-only prompt.

drivers: add COMPILE_TEST prompts to some on-by-default drivers ...

Many clock source and GPIO controller drivers don't have a prompt, but
are instead default y if their respective platform is enabled. Maintain
this behavior, but add a prompt for when COMPILE_TEST is enabled, so
they can be included in test builds.

drivers: mark first batch of compilable drivers for COMPILE_TEST ...

All of these drivers have a runtime dependency on SoC peripherals, but
can nevertheless be compile-tested. Add COMPILE_TEST as an alternate
dependency.

common: introduce COMPILE_TEST option for build-testing ...

Compile-time analysis may help us catch latent bugs in barebox. For this
to be most effective, we need an easy way to compile as much of barebox
as possible. Giving all driver options prompts would do this, but at the
cost of making user experience worse, by asking them about drivers for HW
that's clearly not relevant to the platform they selected.

Do as Linux does and provide a default-off COMPILE_TEST option, which we
can use to make extra drivers selectable.

drivers: explicitly select dependency STMP_DEVICE for i.MX23/28 drivers ...

Some of the i.MXs drivers can be build tested even if building for other
platforms. Support adding a future COMPILE_TEST dependency to some of
these drivers by explicitly having their Kconfig symbol select STMP_DEVICE
if the driver calls stmp_reset_block.

This has not been necessary for the normal build, because the ARCH
symbols for the IMX23 and IMX28 already selected STMP_DEVICE.

ARM: i.MX: boot: correctly handle SRC_SBMR1 override via SRC_GPR9 ...

`mw 0x20d8040 0x08000030; mw 0x20d8044 0x10000000; reset` issued on an
i.MX6Q forces boot from the ecspi1. This is because the BootROM reads
the boot mode out of SRC_GPR9 instead of SRC_SBMR1 whenever SRC_GPR10
has its 28th bit set.

Teach barebox about this, so we don't end up with a wrong $bootsource
when putting SRC_GPR9 into use.
